Our Client is a leading manufacturer of packaging and personal care products with operations throughout Australia and overseas. They are looking for an experienced QC Officer to join their team. This is a FMCG manufacturing environment working with personal and home care products such as creams, lotions, shampoos etc. 

As the QC Officer you will be:

• Performing laboratory equipment operation and calibration 
• Attending to any quality issues raised by production staff concerning incoming raw materials and raise non-conformances when required
• Checking that all finished goods are within specified limits
• Checking all required tests have been conducted and information noted
• Reporting any issues to production 
• Working with flammable products
• Reviewing QA/QC documentation whilst not on floor

Essential Criteria

• Tertiary degree, diploma or certificate in Chemistry or similar
• Knowledge of Chemistry principles and associated analytical instrumentation
• Experience working in laboratory
• Experience in batch manufacturing (FMCG or food) 
• Quality focused with an excellent eye for detail
• Good written and spoken communication skills
• Intermediate level computer skills.

Hours of Work: 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday

Location: Fairfield NSW
