Inventory Planner & Master Data Officer

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Inventory Planner looking to join a tight knit team of professionals in delivering first class solutions.

A division of a major manufacturing group has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Inventory Planner to take on an inital 6-month maternity leave cover contract with the possibility for extension. The purpose of the position is to take responsibility for national Inventory Planning for multiple sites across Australia and possibly New Zealand. 

As the Inventory Planner you will perform duties including but not limited to:

  • Determining optimal inventory holdings across multiple stock locations
  • Managing the replenishment of all products using SAP MRP
  • Create and maintain Master Data for your portfolio of products, including Material Master, BOMs and Routings
  • Driving the S&OP process
  • Implementation of inventory optimization strategies including programs for obsolete and slow-moving stock
  • Managing processes and stock levels for new products
  • Hours of work will be 10:00am to 6.00pm (Opportunity for remote working to be discussed at interview)

To be considered for this position, you will possess: 

  • Solid inventory planning/replenishment experience in a manufacturing environment across multiple sites
  • Very strong ERP/MRP skills in SAP
  • Experience in using and maintenance of Master Data in the MM module, with experience of PP and SD an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as this role will require you to be a key liaison across a number of different business units
  • Appropriate Tertiary qualifications
