Are you a result orientated Engineer with a passion for optimizing processes? We’re seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our client’s team to ensure their production runs smoothly and efficiently. Our client is an Australian industry leader in HVAC ductwork manufacturing with automated machinery, innovative technology and streamlined systems to supply their Tier 1 construction clients with high volume industrial and commercial project requirements.

You’ll leverage your knowledge of Lean Manufacturing to identify and implement improvements throughout their manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and improve current manufacturing procedures
  • Design and implement new SOPs
  • Identify areas of improvement and opportunities for waste reduction
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Develop and maintain production documentation
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and repairs as required
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams (engineering, quality control and production)


Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Manufacturing or a related field
  • Industrial, Mechanical or Continuous Improvement Engineering background ideal
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ducting or metal manufacturing preferred 
  • Proficient in AUTOCAD or similar engineering software preferred
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia

Hours: Mon to Fri 6:00am – 3.30pm OR 7:00am – 4.30pm, plus a regular RDO, and overtime as required
